It’s been a while since we’ve shared some cookies but, can I tell you I’m in love with these and the technique used to decorate them. They make both a statement and are simple. I’m not a master decorator, I’m just a creative expressing her passion through cookies. I look for simple techniques that can may a statement and impact when mixed together in a grouping.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to travel down to Round Rock, TX for the It’s All in the Cake Expo and take in some really incredible decorators from beginners all the way to masters. While I was there I also had the opportunity to meet one of my long time cookie crushes, Sandie of You Can Call me Sweetie.
Sandie is just as sweet in person as I imagined and she was full of inspiration, tips and tricks for exploring your creativity. Here is a glimpse at a small cookie set a pulled together using Sandie’s famous tutu technique. I hope you enjoy the cookies as much as I enjoyed making them.
Friends there is still time for you to lend your support to our campaign to get Suga the Truck on the streets of Dallas by this summer. Our kickstarter campaign ends March 27 so please feel free to share with anyone you know.
Until Next time.
